Students Can Gallop into Spring Break with Amplify Horse Racing Equine Careers Event

Amplify Horse Racing has opened registration for an immersive Spring Break bus tour through Lexington, Kentucky horse country on Friday, April 5. Youth and young adults ages 13 and up, alongside their parents or guardians, will have a unique opportunity to explore the Thoroughbred industry and gain valuable insights into potential careers with horses through an engaging and educational experience.

The day-long adventure will begin by boarding a bus at the Keeneland Library. Participants will travel to WinStar Farm’s training center to learn about conditioning racehorses, and then to Hallway Feeds to learn about fueling equine athletes. From there, the group will return to Keeneland for lunch at the Track Kitchen before visiting a trainer’s barn and enjoying racing on opening day of the Keeneland Spring Meet. Transportation, lunch, and Keeneland admission are included in the $25 ticket price.

In 2023, Amplify received a Seattle Slew Grant from the KEEP Foundation, facilitating the inception of the event with additional backing from Amplify’s industry supporters.
