Horse & Country (H&C), the leading international equestrian sports network, will provide exclusive livestream and on-demand coverage of the 2024 Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) National Championship Horse Show on its streaming service, H&C+.
The 55th annual IHSA National Championship takes place May 3-5, 2024, at the Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, NC. Teams and individuals have competed throughout the year at hundreds of regular season competitions across North America, then a series of postseason events to qualify for the National Championship.

All three days of the IHSA National Championship competition will be available for H&C+ members to watch on demand shortly after the live event.

The IHSA comprises more than 400 member colleges and universities representing 39 regions in eight zones across the United States and Canada, including individual riders and teams from both Hunter Seat and Western disciplines. Members include all genders and riding levels from beginner to advanced. For team competition, each performance counts toward their overall finish. The winning collegiate teams from each region advance to zone competitions, where the top two qualify for the National Championship. Similarly, leading athletes in each division can qualify to represent their schools as individuals through their regional and zone results.
In addition to naming the IHSA Hunter Seat and Horse & Rider Western Team Champions, presented by the American Paint Horse Association (APHA), the IHSA National Championship also features several special awards for individual competitors. The United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) Hunter Seat High-Point Rider is awarded the prestigious Cacchione Cup, while the Back on Track Western High-Point Rider receives a champion buckle and prizes.
Beyond H&C’s extensive sports coverage, both live and on demand, H&C+ members also receive access to more than 1,800 hours of equestrian programming featuring content from all disciplines, masterclasses and training series, barn tours, rider profiles, and documentaries.
