During this Season of Giving Support the Goal of Raising $140K for Working Horses, Donkeys and Mules

During this season of giving, Brooke USA Foundation (Brooke USA) invites the community to give the ‘Gift of Hope’ to further the welfare of working equines and humankind through the organization’s transformational work in improving the lives of over two million working horses, donkeys, and mules, and 12 million people across the globe.

From now through December 31st, Brooke USA calls for ‘Hope’ from the equestrian community by helping the organization meet the goal of raising $140,000.  Donate to Brooke USA Foundation and give the ‘Gift of Hope’ to provide help and ‘Hope’ to those in need—animals and humans—to immediately help address vital needs of families and their working horses, donkeys, and mules. No gift is too small for needs that might otherwise go unmet.

TheGift of Hope is the power to believe that anything is possible – fresh water, a warm meal, a small business, an education. In our case, ‘Hope’ can be delivered ensuring healthy and productive working equines. As 2022 comes to an end, Brooke USA has helped horses being sold and traded across India’s equine fairs, riders and their horses stranded in the Ukraine, donkeys and their owners affected by the floods in Pakistan, women securing water for their family in Ethiopia, and families and their animals working in the brick kilns of India. Right here in the U.S., the organization continues to combat the donkey hide trade in Congress.

“We made all this possible thanks to our loyal donors and new supporters while ensuring that Hope’ was never lost. During this Holidays and with the coming of a New Year, the animals, and humans we serve remind us that Hope’ for the future is really what our work is about. All the families we help share a common ‘Hope’ – food security, access to water, a means to education, and better living conditions. We make their hopes a reality through improved equine health and welfare,” shares Emily Dulin, Brooke USA’s CEO.

To achieve our reach, Brooke USA must raise $200,000 during the end of year and thanks to our Giving Tuesday campaign which raised nearly $60,000, we are well positioned to meet the additional $140,000 goal by December 31, 2022. When you give the Gift of Hope we can offer a hand to others across the world and walk with them for a time as they learn to better handle and care for their animals, while building stronger and more resilient lives.

Adds Kendall Bierer, Donor Relations Officer of Brooke USA, “We are so grateful to our supporters across the nation, unfortunately, even now, the circumstances surrounding those living in the developing world are unimaginable. However, there is ‘Hope’! Brooke USA offers sustainable programs to the Global South’s most vulnerable populations thanks to our generous donors.”

This holiday season, you can provide the ‘Gift of Hope’ to so many before the end of the year and help us deliver ‘Hope’ to the 600 million people who depend on a working equine for survival. Make your tax deduction gift before the end of the year and learn more at www.BrookeUSA.org.
