Horses + Media = AHP. Make your dream career a reality.

Applications available online for the AHP Equine Media Student Award

American Horse Publications knows all about students with a passion for horses who seek a career as an equine media professional.

“Attracting young people with a passion for horses and media is important to sustain the equine media industry,”  says AHP Executive Director Chris Brune. “Not only does it offer students a chance to learn about a career they may be passionate about, but it has also given equine media a long list of talented young people.”

Twenty-nine students have been named AHP Student Award winners since the program was  initiated in 1993 to build awareness of the careers in equine media. Many of these former winners, as well as Travel Award winners and applicants, continue their involvement in the equine industry today.
