EQUUS Television Celebrates Elle Woolley’s Selection in Paralympic Games Shortlist for Paris 2024

EQUUS Television proudly announces the inclusion of celebrated EQUUS Athlete, Elle Woolley, in the shortlist of athletes contending for a prestigious spot at the upcoming Paralympic Games in Paris.

Elle Woolley’s extraordinary journey epitomizes resilience and dedication in the realm of Paradressage. Despite facing formidable obstacles stemming from a childhood brain injury, Elle’s unwavering passion and commitment to equestrian sport have propelled her to this achievement.

Teamed with her Hanoverian gelding, Deucalion, fondly known as “Duke,” Elle has captivated audiences and earned acclaim on the global stage. Guided by the expertise of USDF gold medalist Lisa Hellmer, Elle and Duke have demonstrated remarkable skill and unity, securing notable successes at competitions like the 2023 National Championships and the Ottawa Dressage Festival.

Elle Woolley’s inclusion in the Paralympic Games shortlist marks a significant milestone in her pursuit of representing the United States on an international platform. Her journey exemplifies perseverance, resilience, and determination, serving as an inspiration to athletes and enthusiasts worldwide.

“We at EQUUS Television are immensely proud to count Elle Woolley among our esteemed roster of EQUUS Global Athletes,” remarked John Barlett, CEO of EQUUS Television. “Her selection in the Paralympic Games shortlist underscores her exceptional talent and commitment to excellence. We eagerly support her journey towards the Paralympic Games.”

As Elle Woolley embarks on the next phase of her journey, EQUUS Television extends an invitation to viewers and supporters to join in celebrating her achievements and offering encouragement every step of the way.  For Elle to have a chance to be a USA team member this year, she must attend the Ottawa Dressage Festival followed by the mandatory Olympic Observation event in Tryon, NC. This final competition will be the official selection trials for Paris later this summer.  Click here to watch Diana De Rosa’s interview with Elle on EQUUS.
