In-person networking opportunities were challenging to come by in 2020, leaving many equine entrepreneurs hungry to connect with like-minded professionals in the industry for support, resources, and new prospects.
The Leadline launched their first-ever online networking event in August of 2020, providing a much-needed virtual solution that enabled equestrian businesses to continue making new connections in a small, community-focused environment.
This month, The Leadline is pleased to celebrate one year of virtual networking with horse business owners and brand representatives from around the world.
“Our horse business community has grown so much stronger as a result of these virtual events,” says The Leadline community founder and podcast host, Mandee Flanders. “I have personally witnessed the growth and new relationships that have come as a result of participating in our monthly meet ups.”
Attracting equine entrepreneurs and brand reps worldwide, the networking events have hosted attendees from Canada, Australia, and Mongolia in addition to a strong US presence.
Each session lasts for one hour and consists of 30 minutes of networking and introductions, followed by 30 minutes of business masterminding amongst attendees. Attendees are encouraged to show up on Zoom with cameras turned on, ready to promote their brand or business from the comfort of their own home or office. These sessions are free of charge and often include fun perks such as giveaways, coupons, or early access to various offers from brand sponsors.
“Our sponsors will often offer prize drawings or special discount pricing that only our attendees have access to,” says Mandee. “Everyone loves to win a great prize or get a good deal just for showing up!”
