Kimes Ranch Endorsees Headed to the National Finals Rodeo

The 2021 National Finals Rodeo will have four Kimes Ranch endorsees competing under the bright lights of the Thomas & Mack! The talented individuals that are heading to Las Vegas in December are Chase Brooks (Saddle Bronc), Paden Bray (Team Roping, Heeler), Quinn Kesler (Team Roping, Header), and Wenda Johnson (Barrel Racing). Earning their way to the NFR, these athletes have worked tirelessly all year to finish the regular season with enough winnings to be a part of this prestigious event.

If you need directions, Chase Brooks knows his way to Las Vegas, as this will be his fourth trip to the NFR! Brooks is currently sitting seventh in the world in saddle bronc riding. Chase is coming off a solid 2020 season, where he had earnings of over $150,000. This Montana cowboy is the epitome of consistency and his name is sure to be on the big screen often come December.

At 22 years old, Paden Bray already has the resume of a seasoned veteran. A 2019 Resistol Rookie of the Year title was followed by a memorable 2020 Wrangler NFR, winning the average with partner Erich Rogers, and then by a huge win at The American in 2021. The crowd is sure to be cheering on this young team roper as he heads to Vegas sitting #3 in the world standings.

The talent runs deep in Quinn Kesler from Holden, Utah. This cowboy is heading to his third NFR, but his first in the heading. Surprisingly enough, his two previous NFR qualifications came on the other end, as a heeler. Quinn currently sits #15 in the World for Team Roping, after a nail biter of an end to the regular season.

Wenda Johnson is making her way to Las Vegas with her place as one of the top barrel racers in the world after a year filled with some big wins including Reno and San Angelo. She is currently ranked 13th for the 2021 standings, and this trip to the NFR will be her second time qualifying for the big one. It’s a guarantee Wenda will bring some heat to Vegas this year!

The National Finals Rodeo, known as NFR, is back in Las Vegas after moving to Arlington, Texas for the 2020 event. The NFR is known as the “Super Bowl of Rodeo” as it showcases the top 15 cowboys and cowgirls in the seven main events of rodeo: bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, team roping, barrel racing, steer wrestling and tie-down roping.
