Natural Horsemanship and the expanding “Revolution” in understanding and knowledge of the horse-human relationship, will be in full force at the Montana Center for Horsemanship September 8-10. The international conference has confirmed a dynamic lineup of the world’s leading natural horsemanship trainers, teachers, advocates and ambassadors as well as scientists and researchers leading the way in natural horsemanship on a global scale.
The Montana Center for Horsemanship, in collaboration with EQUUS International Film Festival, independent nonprofits, and co-sponsored by the University of Montana Western, brings “The Natural Horsemanship Revolution” to Dillon, Montana this September.
Among the confirmed keynotes and presenters —
Buck Brannaman, Ty Murray, Olympian Jim Wofford, former AQHA Presidents Dr. Glenn Blodgett and Stan Weaver, international equestrian performer Kansas Carradine, renowned equine neuroscientist and “horse brain doc,” Dr. Steve Peters. Manu and Caroline Godin, two of Europe’s leading La Cense Natural Horsemanship trainers will also present. In addition, Buck Brannman and Ty Murray will present films about their lives and their work, as part of the EQUUS International Film Festival. Ty Murray and filmmaker Luke Linderman, will also be filming Ty’s work and presentations throughout the conference.
This week also marks the launch of Buck Brannaman’s new television channel. For over forty years, Brannaman has been working with horses and riders to benefit their mutual experience. The Buck Channel was Buck’s dream, to be a place where his horsemanship students could watch short 6–8 minute training session videos – anytime on any device – helping them with their horses. The Buck Channel subscribers will have access to a revolving menu of 50 videos, in 12 subject categories each month to choose from and watch as many and as much as they want. Categories include – Fundamental Information, Bridling and Saddling, Colt Starting and Groundwork, The Soft Feel, Working the Green Snaffle Bit Horse, Intermediate and Advanced Snaffle Work, Hackamore and the Two-Rein, Working from the Lope, Lateral Work, The Turn Around, Roping, Gear and Use, and Buck Stories and Good Sense Information.
Each month, some video titles will rotate off while others are added – along with featured titles – for the new month. New videos are constantly being shot and video subject suggestions for Buck are welcomed.
