Congratulations to MAGE, trainer Gustavo Delgado, jockey Javier Castellano, and all connections for winning the 149th running of the Kentucky Derby. In an exciting come-from-behind win for the “little horse with a big heart,” as described by Castellano, MAGE delivered Venezuelans Delgado and Castellano both their first Kentucky Derby wins. An even more impressive win considering this was MAGE’s fourth career race.
