Brooke USA Reveals New Goodwill Ambassadors

~Amanda Delgado and Lynn Palm Join An Impressive Roster of Supportive Equestrians~

Brooke USA recently announced that Amanda Delgado and Lynn Palm have joined the organization as Brooke USA Ambassadors. They join almost 20 Brooke USA Ambassadors across the country, who through their influence, dedication, and hard work, help to highlight Brooke USA and advocate for the mission of alleviating the suffering of working horses, donkeys and mules and the people they serve.

Brooke USA Ambassadors take great pride in their efforts as they share their Brooke USA knowledge and enthusiasm while helping spread awareness for the organization’s programs and events where they live and work. “We are thrilled that Lynn and Amanda have joined our roster of very special Ambassadors as they are our first entry into the Western world,” said Margaret H. Duprey, Founder of Brooke USA’s Ambassadorships. “Brooke USA has become a household name among equestrians in the British disciplines thanks to our Ambassadors, who back in 2016, when we started, were the way we made friends and supporters,” added Duprey.

For more than 50 years, Lynn has championed the partnership of the horse and rider. An international clinician and competitor, she travels extensively teaching the fundamentals of the Palm Equestrian Academy. Lynn is an American Quarter Horse Association judge and holds her USEF R Western Dressage Judge’s License. She continues to compete in both the United State Dressage Federation and the Western Dressage Association of America. Lynn’s competition record is second  to none, having earned 4 AQHA Superhorse Titles, over 30 AQHA World and Reserve Championships, several AQHA European Championships, more than a dozen WDAA World Championships, 15 USDF All Breed Awards Champions and most recently, the Dressage and Western Dressage Championships at the AQHA World Show.

Amanda is a professional equestrian, and her primary discipline is western dressage, but she does participate in ranch, working hunter, and other quarter horse events. Back in 2015, Amanda rescued a paint mare named Athena who had been beaten, starved, and neglected. Despite being told by vets and others to put Athena down, she gave her a chance and Athena miraculously recovered and turned into a stunning and sweet show horse. Together, they have won over 10 World Championship titles. Amanda has many accomplishments, including being a 4X World Champion and Reserve World Champion at the 2021 WDAA World Championship Show, as well as being a 2X World Champion and Reserve World Champion at the 2019 Pinto World Championship Show.

“As high-profile individuals, our Ambassadors play a vital role in bringing the work of Brooke USA to the attention of the public and the media. I am very sure that Lynn and Amanda will use their reach and influence to give a voice to those who need it most – humans and animals alike,” said Emily Dulin, CEO of Brooke USA. Brooke USA Ambassadors promote the organization on social media and their websites, participate in media interviews, agree to articles and media features, serve as a figurehead for key campaigns and fundraising projects, network, and advocate for Brooke USA’s work, attend key events, and look unique opportunities for the charity’s representation at competitions.

About Brooke USA Foundation (Brooke USA): The mission of Brooke USA is to significantly improve the health, welfare and productivity of working horses, donkeys and mules and the people who depend on them for survival worldwide. We are committed to sustainable economic development by reducing poverty, increasing food security, ensuring access to water, providing a means to education, and raising basic standards of living through improved equine health and welfare. We accomplish this by raising funds and responsibly directing them to the areas of greatest need. Brooke USA strives to alleviate the suffering and vulnerability of developing communities by funding and implementing programs that improve the quality of life and health of working equines and thereby positively impacting their economic sustainability, protecting the planet, ensuring gender equality, and guaranteeing life on land resilience. We want to see healthy, happy people and equines that work in partnership to achieve sustainable local economies. For more information, visit www.BrookeUSA.org.

About The Donkey Project: Brooke USA’s “The Donkey Project” is a year-long campaign set to raise an ambitious $1.5 million by June 30, 2024. “The Donkey Project” is intended to grow the organization’s depth of work while raising more funds in support of working donkeys and the people who depend on them for survival in vulnerable communities worldwide. For 600 million people in some of the poorest places in the world, 100 million of these animals and other equines are the backbone of communities and their best means of making a living. Without healthy working donkeys, people would not be able to put food on their tables, send their children to school or build better futures for themselves and their families. In sum, donkeys are essential to the livelihoods of people in developing countries. “The Donkey Project” aims to radically raise the profile of donkeys all over the world.
