Garcia Farms Announced as Presenting Sponsor of Brooke USA’s Sunset Watering Hole in Wellington

Brooke USA Foundation is pleased to announce The Garcia Companies as the presenting sponsor of the Sunset Watering Hole, the nonprofit’s major annual event designed for young professionals and riders in Wellington. Taking place on Monday, February 19 (President’s Day) at the National Polo Center, the event offers an afternoon and evening of partying poolside at the idyllic venue and indulging in the party atmosphere. Attendees will enjoy a fun-filled evening of poolside activities, music and entertainment with renowned DJ Adam Lipson, cirque entertainment, photo opportunities, shopping, as well as great food and drinks.

Garcia’s President Josh Kellam stated, “we are extremely pleased and excited to be a part of such a noble cause. Not only is Sunset Watering Hole a worthy event, but it’s the perfect place for us to showcase our exceptional equestrian sand product and share our commitment to the equestrian community.” Funds raised during Brooke USA’s Sunset Watering Hole are committed to purchasing and stocking medical and other supplies for rural veterinary clinics for working equines in Ethiopia, providing access to convenient and prompt care.

The Garcia Companies operates sustainable businesses that can give back to the communities in which they live, work, and play. Garcia Materials is a 600-acre facility that specializes in beach nourishment projects as well as specialty products for equestrian footing, golf courses, and construction projects. The sand operation features state-of-the-art technology and tracking, exceptional quality control, and a highly qualified team.

“We’re delighted to have The Garcia Companies join our exceptional roster of sponsors. It is thanks to these corporate partners, together with our event attendees and donors,  that we can further our mission of improving the welfare of  working horses, donkeys, and mules and advancing the livelihoods of the people they serve,” noted Kendall Bierer, Donor Relations Officer of Brooke USA. In addition to Garcia Farms, Brooke USA’s Sunset Watering Hole presented by The Garcia Companies promises to be a success through the generosity of EnviroEquine, Eye Candy, Nonprofit Nest, Khanna House Studios, Equestrian Sotheby’s, Vanner House, and La Enovesé.

Emily Dulin, CEO of Brooke USA, stated, “Wellington is such a special place for us as we kicked-off all 2024 planned fundraisers here. Our events are designed to bring something new to our loyal supporters, while building new groups of friends with a variety of themes and activities, all while expanding our reach to help more people and animals in need.”

Brooke USA’s last event of the Wellington season is the spectacular showcase Divertimentos & Dressage, a musical freestyle to a live performance by the Palm Beach Symphony. Divertimentos & Dressage Presented by Lugano Diamonds will be held on Thursday, March 21 at the Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center. Spectators will be overwhelmed by the beauty of this event when horses, orchestra and guests literally share the arena. Brooke USA Ambassadors JJ Tate and Rebecca Hart, along with Sahar Daniel Hirosh, Todd Flettrich and Allison Kavey are confirmed to ride, with a special pas de trois to be performed by Kerensa, Klendy and Kayden Muller.
