Horse Trails of America Joins American Horse Council, Featured on April 2 Horses in the Morning Podcast

Horse Trails of America (http://HorseTrailsOfAmerica.com) is now a full member of The American Horse Council. HTA Director Heidi Melocco represents the association with a seat on the AHC Recreation, Trails & Land Use Committee.

To talk more about trail riders’ access to trails across the country, Melocco spoke with AHC President Julie Broadway for a recording of the AHC’s monthly podcast. Listen to the new audio, hosted by Horses in the Morning starting April 2, 2024 at https://horsesinthemorning.com/category/ahc/ or look for Horses in the Morning on any app you use to listen to podcasts.

Broadway says “The AHC Recreation, Trails & Land Use Committee is essential and pivotal to the work of AHC and the 2M horse owners in the US (50% of which are recreational riders)! AHC advocates for outdoor recreation legislation and regulations that will help sustain horse owner’s abilities to ride trails, and enjoy the peace, scenery and serenity of the great outdoors. We know from our partnerships with NPS, USFS & BLM that millions of horseback riders are out on the trails each year, and tens of thousands of visitors participate in pack use. We are excited to welcome Horse Trails of America to the AHC family.”
