COWGIRL Magazine is seeking a part-time or full-time Digital Media and Content Manager to work remotely.

This is a part-time/full-time role based in your home office.
The ideal candidate will have a university degree in marketing/communications, experience in digital marketing and social media management, and a keen interest in women’s Western lifestyle and fashion. You must be an avid writer and creator who is up to date with the standard and expanding technologies required to effectively excel in your position. Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage an overall content calendar plan encompassing all COWGIRL digital platforms, sponsored events, and digital sales initiatives
- Create, curate, and manage daily content for COWGIRL’s digital platforms using WordPress, and other app-based technologies
- Effectively monitor, engage with, and respond to comments, messages, and feedback on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
- Work directly with dynamic sales team to create, design and implement client digital campaigns
- Work creatively with our Social Media Manager
- Create, design, and execute multi-weekly e-blast series
- Analyze social media performance and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement
- Provide end of campaign reports for sponsored events and digital sales campaigns
- Stay up to date with social media trends, best practices, and platform updates by providing class/study certifications.
- Ideate, present, and execute social media campaigns against COWGIRL Tentpole Events and Sponsored Programs
- Contribute to both print and digital editorial for the Magazine brand
Requirements:
- University degree in marketing/communications
- Proven experience with social media platforms and technology
- Proven digital media writing experience
- Proven experience with Photoshop or Canva and WordPress
- Exceptional skills with mobile phone video shooting and editing
- Participate in and contribute to regularly scheduled staff meetings via Slack
- Ability and desire travel to several trade shows and events annually
